Commissions structure is the best i've seen- for a reason

Cons

Where do I start? They pay well because they treat you so horribly. There is no respect for the amount of time and effort put in. 100+ hours a week to get yelled at over and over again. Upper management has no concern for the people in the offices of the apartment communities. If the buildings are under construction it gets worse for everyone working in the office. Expectations are impossible. There is no encouragement or inspiration from upper management. There is only push back and more reports. Marketing directors and Area Directors don't care about anyone below them. Nothing is ever good enough and when you go above and beyond, that's wrong too.

-Training & classes -Decent pay & commission structure -Met some great people on SITE level -Opportunity for advancement if willing to relocate

Cons

-Work/life balance doesn't exist. Expect to work multiple weekends per month & holidays. You're life is VG 24/7 365 -Upper management will micromanage you. Some way more than others -You feel replaceable -turnover in sales is high

VG is a great company to work for! 35 + yrs in the business and I can say this is a great experience. VG recognizes its top performers with generosity and admiration. Executives listen to their employees and do as they promise. The sites are well managed and look amazing!

Cons

Lower level management can sometimes be lacking in appreciation of hardwork. However executive management exceeds expectations.
