Pros

Newcomers get exposed to their wide range of technology stack including but not limited to C++, Qt, Python, Make, Cmake, SVN, Win ce, Rest and many other industrial protocols for printers communicating over the network. They primarily follow agile methodology of software development. If you keep an open mind and right attitude you can learn a lot of things in a very short amount of time.

Cons

They have lot of employees with previous experience in service based companies like Wipro, LNT and TCS and that makes the work culture very toxic. They are a lot more involved in office politics and coming up with excuses than getting the actual work done.

Pros

Team oriented environment with helpful members

Cons

Very poor management and department structuring. Managers had favorites and broke many promises for promoting growth.

Pros

Solid work/life balance. Awesome opportunities to advance for those who work hard. Large company with multiple partner companies, which creates additional opportunities for growth under the same Danaher umbrella.

Cons

Just one con (which I will outline at the end). First, I can only speak for my "world". I work in I.T. and cannot address Videojet organizations outside of I.T. Frankly, I am not aware of, or burdened by, any "cons". Companies are built and run by people. Most people want to get along...do the right thing and work hard. In my view, "cons" erupt when processes are broken. I try to view "cons" as opportunities to correct unfixed problems (sometimes I fail at this). For any corporate "con", you will likely find one or more underlying process that failed. Videojet and Danaher have lots of tools to create a better, more productive, work environment...but -at the end of the day- it really is up to each person to put those tools to use...and this is where my 1 "con" comes in. It can be really hard to step out of your comfort zone to first identify that you are living in a broken process and then find a way to step out of that process to get it fixed. Often times it is just easier to quietly grumble about an unresolved issue and move on. Then the issue fades, until it comes back. It would be great if there was a training course that teaches individual contributors how & when to put established tools to use to fix a failed process.
