Cons

although most employees work part time the job is very stressfull, so u have to be able to handle stress well! you have to sell like crazy and also sign up ppl to credit cards.1st day no direction so basically u running around like a chicken with no head!theres always managers watching u, lookin to see if ur goin to steal r if u r not selling enuff. its like they want u to act like a damn cheerleader all the time which is difficult to do with hardly any breaks so by the end the day ur drained. point blank its a very difficult store to work at so if u have other store options try them 1st b4 goin 2 victoria secret u will regret it!

Pros

The best reason to work for Victoria's Secret stores is the discount at all of the stores operated by Limited Brands. These stores include stores commonly found in most malls such as Express, Limited, Limited Too, Bath and Body Works and Henry Bendel. Victoria's Secret also provides their employees with discounted or free merchandise, which is usually the newest bra. They have a very great management team and employees want to work together in order to sell more and promote their sales and culture. Overall, Victoria's Secret Stores is a great place to work and most people like it too.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at Victoria's Secret Stores are downsides common to most retail type stores. Employees working in a retail location with direct contact with the general public have to interact with customers on a daily basis who are sometimes not always friendly. Also, since it is a retail position, the hours can be unpredictable and conflict with the times that most other people are off of work enjoying their leisure time. On the other hand, this could be a perk for someone who is in school or looking for another job to supplement their existing income.

Pros

If you are willing to learn about bras and panties and really pay attention to detail, this can be a great opportunity for you to grow and develop your sales abilities. This store is a lot more complex than most retail stores (i.e. you have to make sure you consistently complete all of your duties, meet sales goals, etc.). One of the best benefits of working at Victoria's Secret is that you get "gratises" every time a new product comes out (free/discounted item when it is first introduced).

Cons

The employees are not paid very much in general, and it takes forever to advance at the company.
