      Not for everyone, Competition with colleagues is highly encouraged, Questionable Sales tactics.

      Pros

      Great benefits! Much better than other companies in the industry. Compensation is also slightly higher than in other positions, at least in my area. The atmosphere is pretty friendly and people seem to want to work together as a team rather than every man for himself.

      Cons

      There's a lot of "red tape" surrounding promotions. Positions are posted as open and then filled without interviewing all applicants. The promotion process is very political and unfair. Senior leadership, at least in my location, seems very out of touch with front-line representatives and supervisors and out of touch with their day to day duties.

      Pros

      The pay is pretty good. The culture seems relaxed, although VZ is trying to strongarm their way in.

      Cons

      Doing nothing is alot better and more stable. Trying to get ahead and do your job will just cause you grief, roadblocks and no rewards. Everyone seems to be in CYA mode, instead of working as a team to get the job done. Blaming others for their mistakes is often a better approach than admitting mistakes and working to resolve them
