Pros

good opportunity to earn money

Cons

management don't encourage you its just about making sales for them. when you make sales you must make more and more and more. if you didn't make the sale that not supportive and help you do better they just dump on you. you have to lie to customers to make sales

Pros

The product itself - I believe - is a very decent alarm. Yes, it is pricey but it definitely fits in to the modern market.

Cons

This job will cost YOU money. Being told I would be getting a company car and fuel card, then once I was in the field this was taken back. I needed to use my own car (fine) and pay my own fuel! (not fine). How the commission works kept changing with each person I talked too. Turned out to be very different to what I was originally told. The area that you cover is so huge, you would be in Chichester one morning then have to rush down to Winchester in the afternoon and finish in Guildford in the evening. This would be ok if they explained at the time of the interview the vast area I would be covering. Although advertised as a Monday - Friday job (9-5) with OCCASIONAL weekend work. You were expected to work every single weekend and it became a major issue if you couldn't. You would be given appointments in the afternoon for 8pm the same day regardless if you were available. You wouldn't be asked, just told to go at the drop of a hat. Yes, the more appointments you go to the more money you could be potentially making but organisation around this wouldn't go a miss. One of my biggest issues is that this role hugely relied on cold door to door knocking/sales. In the interview I was told that the leads/ appointments are given to you. So it was a very unpleasant surprise. This is a very male orientated company. Being the only female on the training course and in my branch created some issues which the management would turn a blind eye to.

Pros

Great place to work with clear and consise path of career progression. I have been able to earn great rewards for my gard work in terms of Comission. great place to work if you can really sell

Cons

There is really no point if you cannot achieve the targets in terms of sales. The targets are realistic but if you can't achieve them it's really not a job for you.
