Pros

I liked my team and people I worked with at the beginning but we all became jaded because of what we had to do.

Cons

I had to lie to customers all the time. Promise them things I knew would not happen. Everyone has the same issues which is bad customer support and issues with the system. We had numerous customers ringing up all the time complaining about issues not being fixed. I was told to lie to them and promise them it would be fixed. I knew it never would. I felt so awful doing this and especially lying to people who were very scared and needed security.

Pros

The commission structure is good, if you can sell the product, and you enjoy being self employed. (Which is the reality of the sales position/security consultant))

Cons

Con is very apt. The job advert is misleading. There is no basic pay, no company car, no business phone, no expenses paid, no point of sale material, no business cards and no personal company email address. You may get them if you qualify?? You're effectively working self employed at your own expense and time to go out there and find business, convincing people to buy their monitored alarms systems, whether business or residential. you get told at training that your basic pay is actually a guaranteed top up. Lack of promised company warm leads. Teleclose will also steal your orders if you fail to close them on the day. If you fail to deliver 8+ installs a month you get dismissed. I was there for 10 weeks, worst company I have ever worked for in 30 years.

Pros

Some great individuals in the team. I can't think of anymore, this place is literally a shambles

Cons

Poor Management Discrimination Sexism Dismissal of anyone who questions management No/Little Warm Leads Less than minimum wage and long hours (9AM-10PM) Job is mis-sold to you, it's bascially knocking on people's doors and asking them if they want to pay 46.80 a month for a alarm
