Big company benefits, but employees left feeling like a number that could be easily replaced
Pros
Unique perks that you won't find in a lot of other companies (ski pass, retail discounts, free ski lessons, etc). Casual work place and genuine appreciation for the environment. Employees are encouraged to take ski breaks when they can and enjoy powder days. The company is totally aware that they have to maintain the environment to maintain the business. Leadership at the local resorts "get it" and most really care about each employee.
Cons
Average entry level position makes about $9/hour so compensation is too low for the resort towns employees live in - not really a livable wage. Company is growing and growing rapidly - most resort employees feel like a number and replaceable. Corporate office feels totally disconnected to the local resorts - a lot of emphasis on numbers and not on the employees
