Great way to learn and grow as a manager in many different situations. Upper management was helpful and supportive if needed

Cons

At the end of they day you are really just a number in a company this large.

-Awesome training (at my shop) -A wealth of expertise -We can make a ski boot fit if it doesn’t yet (equipment but we would love more tools!) -Professionalism

Cons

-Hectic busyness -No time to train others (it’s a lifelong job but it’d be great to teach others the easy stuff) -Lack of new boot fitting equipment(for the higher end stuff some more precision would make a world of difference) -More help (we have awesome people in the shop, I would love to have more time to train so that we have NO returns and only minor modifications to our boots) -Pay (I can fit people for days but I can’t do it on hopes for the future elsewhere)

Pros

Schedule is nice, but some of the leadership are Vail experts and not warehouse experts. Therefore, they don't make good decisions on workflow and the on the floor staff has to deal with the impacts of those often times poor decisions. FTO is amazing and my immediate colleagues are great to work with.

Cons

Leadership does know the business well and leaves front line staff to figure it all out with little support. No IT or HR on site and getting help in any capacity is extremely hard.
