Pros

The access to the outdoors and the benefits that let you get on the mountains at minimal cost. Strong local leadership, and strong engagement within smaller teams.

Cons

Poor leadership at the corporate level. Less focus on employee experience. Bad PR moves - letting go of senior employees. Centralization of many job functions

Pros

Manager and coworkers were great to work with.

Cons

Lots of bureaucracy; got almost no materials from HR with the exception of assigned trainings.

Pros

Free ski pass, great coworkers and many competent managers (who sadly get screwed out of their ability to manage, ill get into this in cons), decent work culture, opportunity to work with diverse staff (in winter)

Cons

Buckle up. No real HR, its an app, and not a well made one. Managers get hamstrung by micromanagement from hq of the company. IT is an absolute nightmare particularly in the beginning of the season and nothing is ever meaningfully addressed, only after hours of employees persuing fixes for problems on their own time. Parking is a nightmare on busy days and on "red days" employees are not allowed to park at work. Many customers are obnoxious. Pay is not even close to enough to live in the area and bonuses seem designed to exclude much of the staff. Much of the staff consist of visa holders (not a problem) and the company seems to want to screw them, without consequence, out of many benefits. Employee housing is cramped, outdated, dirty, expensive, disorganized, and borderline dangerous (lead paint, etc). Equipment requisition is on triaj only, never proactive. Work space is disorganized, cramped, and inefficient. I could go on but I've already wrote this essay.
