Pros

I learned a lot about working through stressful situations and ended up teaching myself a lot about new technologies in order to assist customers. Now that VMware has acquired AirWatch, employees have access to VMware training materials and benefits.

Cons

The management team gets no management training and therefore acts unprofessionally. In the entry level software consultant position, which is actually just technical support (They don't tell you this until after you come for your first day of work.), the team leads micro-manage everything you do down to the words you use in emails. The hours are long, 9 1/2 a day, 5 days a week, and many times we have to work late or through lunch. All decisions are made behind closed doors, and the employees affected by those decisions don't know a change is made until the day it happens. People are randomly chosen to move to different positions in the company with no formal interview process, so career advancement or lateral career moves are often done willy nilly and new positions seem to go to friends of management or employees less qualified than others. Employees don't get enough training on the product before they have to support it with customers and have to figure it out on the fly while on the phone. You see people running around with the customer on mute begging their coworkers to help them troubleshoot an issue they've never worked on before. The documentation for the product is terrible and unhelpful in figuring out what's wrong. This is stressful for the employees and totally ridiculous!

Pros

Good competitive salary and benefits thanks to VMware

Cons

Where to begin. This place is a mess beyond belief and HQ or VMware really need to start cleaning up management in the Milton Keynes office. Favouritism, gossiping, sleeping around, insanely high turnover in some departments, people being told by management they are not wanted, people being asked by HR to spy on employees personal lives and social media feeds, the list of neck hair raising examples of unethical and inexcusable management style just goes on and on. This is the place to come if you want to be seriously miserable.

Pros

Friendly Employees. Cutting Edge Domain

Cons

From where do i start. Ok here it goes. - Management does not care of an employee's Salary unless and until he puts down his papers. - Pure 'Chamchas' when i mean chamchas i mean it. yes they do exists and they are growing only becasue they nod their heads to their Leads/Managers. - Leads/ Managers - Never test, never manage scrum , never test , few handle Customer tickets, Never know how to get job done from an employee in a good way. - Only to know to keep record of leaves and in-out timings. - Pathetic - Freshers - seen some very talented freshers who have been given a wrong perspective of work. They feel lke coming out of college and joining school. Leave the place soon. - Salary - YOU are not paid what you are worth. People around may have more than what you are being paid. People under you will definitely have more than what you have. - Employee benefits - Never ever gave any benefit apart from somethings. We even had to beg our managers to take us to a good resort and would end up paying for the transport ourselves. Paying half of the gym allowance makes them feel Google or microsoft all of a sudden. - Senior Managers- Please Act before you loose everyone. throwing a google doc and collecting feedback is not the solution. - Food - aap hi raklo yaar apna food. Seriously not even worth talking about. - Gossips - Passionate people are present who are very interested in one's personal life and its gossips. Very popular Lead/manager speaks about the world. Another Manager who spends half of his time in cafe and on the phone is worried about the amount of time an employee spends in the pantry. I mean WOW!! - Not done here. i will come back and write more. - HR - LOL and ROFL is enough.
