Pros

Great coworkers. Its a wide variety of people from all ages and races. Its a great place to work because of the environment- I mean, your working at a theme park, how can that be bad? Guest are nice because they are having a good time. Very rarely will you have an upset guest, but management steps in right away and will back you up on whatever the situation may be. Free entrance to the park whenever you want as well as free parking for citywalk! Two free tickets to the park as a new employee and ups every year by 2 tickets. Great perks!

Cons

When working at certain attractions you will stay until the ride/show is empty of guest then have to clean- be prepared to be asked to stay late. You also have to arrive early in order to park, get through citywalk and security, get uniform on, and get to your attraction by your shift start.

Pros

Fun place to work, good benefits and meet a diversity of people.

Cons

I am very concerned that for a company who places such importance on their values, they are allowing sexual harassment to be tolerated within the attractions department. I have had multiple interactions with my supervisor that were less than appropriate on their behalf both verbally and physically. I have shared my concerns with HR and was given lengthy questioning about this. However, it has been several weeks since and my supervisor continues the same behavior. I am not the only one who has been approached by this supervisor as other female team members have had similar interactions and voiced their concerns. Apparently, this has been a common thread with this individual supervisor for more than a year and yet nothing has been done and this individual continues their actions and is valued as one of the best leaders amongst fellow supervisors. How is this possible? This is complete negligence and something needs to be done immediately! I am not comfortable working with a leader nor company which allows this type of behavior.

Pros

Free entrance into the theme park for family and friends, riding the rides at lunch, seeing movie stars and famous directors, free movies on Tuesdays and Saturdays, lunch at Citywalk, decent pay, ...

Cons

IT Management is poor. Constant downsizing and outsourcing is GE's mantra. GE eliminates the real workers, and replaces them with incompetent morons in Mumbai. Sad to see my team of 10 fired and replaced by offshore idiots. No reward for innovation or hard work. No reward for loyalty and past successes.
