      The people at Unity are among the most passionate and committed I've ever met. Unity's projects are consistently interesting and cutting-edge. Depending on the role, there can be a degree of flexibility in job responsibilities.

      Frequent layoffs primarily affecting individual contributors, leading to overwork and frustration for remaining employees. Financial instability, with leadership retaining their roles despite minimal impact on the company's success, while cutting essential individual contributors. The HR leadership demonstrates toxic behavior and favoritism, leading to ineffective employee support.       Pros

      Kind, inspiring, and no ego leaders. Product customers love. I've been on the phone with clients who say, "Wow, you must love working at Unity." It's moving from a video game engine to also a product sold to all enterprises. I can speak to the non-gaming side, and it's growing fast.

      Cons

      Not investing in AI as much as I'd like. Remote work can be isolating.
