Pros

The ability to work in different areas of finance which will help you broaden your experience in many areas of the finance

Cons

As with many companies it is a balance between working hard and being productive and playing the political game. Unfortunately sometimes hard work and being productive and adding values to the business is not enough to advance.

Pros

Great people -- teams are dynamic and are go getters. It's a great company if you're interested in marketing and/or FMCG.

Cons

Awful if you're not in marketing or market research. If you are part of shared services (e.g., finance or suppy chain), you get less voice in how the project is shaped.

Pros

Unilever has a good reputation and strong brands, it's a good company to have on resume there is a casual work environment/ business casual

Cons

Dysfunctional org structure - Country vs Regional/Global politics Promotions are near non-existent and rotations are very political and non-transparent Lots of internal changes that are "global" in theory but not in application for every operating country
