Pros

Part of Unilever mothership, which is a reputable company in the FMCG industry. Has a strong legacy. The ship is turning in the right direction after about 5 years in limbo

Cons

Unilever International has a toxic sub-culture. Business is in never ending chaos. The more senior leaders in this division don't have a pedigree like what I experienced while in the mothership. They don't have traction in the mothership so they end up sticking around for long, playing dirty politics. Talk is cheap and trust levels are low. Some of the leaders are 'absentee' bosses. The junior staff bear the brunt of chaos and excess work. A new idea to go after everyday.
