Working around the airport and airplanes is a pretty cool thing, move up in seniority pretty fast within a year, FLIGHT BENEFITS RULE (Even with terrible standby priority).

Cons

Too many unwanted work hours, weather and delays are fun-killers, a lot of occasional boring downtime and training

Flight privileges. Although if not working directly with aviation, the flight is not free, but instead heavily discounted. Plenty room for growth after 6 months.

Cons

It is only part time and sometimes there are no assignments. 3rd shift can get very boring.
