Pros

I get to work around planes all day! If you are a plane enthusiast or a student pilot, this is a great job for you. Depending on your shift, there can be some awesome people to work with.

Cons

I do not advise staying for long. Management is terrible. I started out part time and got forced to full time. The pay is terrible. We get payed a third to half of what other ramp agents make. It was extremely short staffed. Some days there were four people for five planes. You will also never have time to use your flight benefits.

DGS Security is run horribly!!!

Flight benefits....that's it! That is the only pro

Cons

Since my security position ended due to the DGS security not pursuing any more movie contracts this isn't a bitter review, just an honest review. This division of DGS is run horribly. The main man making all the decisions doesn't listen to people that have been there doing the things he's trying to do. They have you drive all over the place up to 2hrs away and don't reimburse you for mileage.
