Pros

The employee discount is phenomenal. If you love the brand, you will love the discount. I was blessed to have such great coworkers as well.

Cons

I worked in a store that was typically very busy. Hours were also good. However, there are many rules when it comes to scheduling. The management told us that we have to be available for three days during the week as well as both weekend days. If you are not available for three days during the week and on Sundays and Saturdays - they would take you off the schedule. Additionally, there is a silly rule when it comes to switching shifts or giving away shifts. If you give your shift away to someone (life happens, things come up) you can only do it two times a month. If you do it more than twice, you are written up. (This is also for those who switch their shifts as well.) Requesting time off is also a massive hassle. The management can accept or deny your request off days. I understand this policy but if you are denied your request off date, you MUST find coverage. Unfortunately, especially for a weekend, most employees are for the most part scheduled so if you could not find coverage, you are written up. The management makes it seem like this store is your ONLY priority. I love UA and all, but the management has absolutely no respect for their teammates. I don't want to work for a company that will write someone up because they had to go to a funeral and could not find coverage. There is a fine line and the Under Armour management needs to step up their game. The managers at my store also tend to belittle employees in front of other employees or customers. I honestly got the vibe that the managers did not seem to want to be at work. They always had something negative to say and they expect the employees to always customer service while the management does not do it themselves. All they do is greet.
