Pros

Fast paced and high energy work environment. Young peer group with a lot of potential. Always adding to departments - always growing. Great company parties and excellent product employee discount.

Cons

Anyone manager level or below is overworked and underpaid. Company motto is to make one dollar spend like three but for their junior folks, it's really make one person work like three. Very little work/life balance. Perhaps will be worth it long term because of how well the business is doing or, they'll bottom out and lose all their hardworking junior talent and have trouble recruiting in new blood given location. Baltimore is not great and should you break ties with Under Armour, there's no where else to go.

Pros

Good benefits, growth company, entrepreneurial, moral boosting events with athletes, healthy choices available with on-site gym and cafe. Since the company is growing you may be first to author a new process or even make your mark in the company's history. Overall the basic corporate culture encourages employees to work and play hard.

Cons

Although the culture is positive at a corporate level the support to the individual at the department level isn't strong while expectations still remain high. Little is done by management or HR to map career paths. High potentials slip through the cracks and careers plateau. The best way to survive is to "find a way" to get the job done while keeping your head down. Ideas not thought through from top ranks turn into fire drills which can derail other reasonable projects. Also, the culture is young and sports oriented which is reminiscent of the popular kids and fraternity days.
