Pros

Under Armour is a great company to work for at the retail level. I've been with the company about three years now and have worked in two different locations. My SM and DM's in both districts have been amazing leaders that have taught me to grow and develop as a leader. They are grooming me for the next level.

Cons

High turnover on corporate leadership. A young company that has a lot of bugs to work out. One day you're told to do one thing and then three days later they change their minds. They put too much stress on the retail field and don't apologize enough for all the pressure it puts us. SM's and ASM's frequently work 50-60 hours a week.

Pros

Hands down finest employee discount program that exists. Amazing product at glorious prices.

Cons

Not that all managers are terrible, this one was. I know she has since been terminated. I was grossly under utilized - I had an MBA working front line retail. The hours became very burdensome - often until 6 am or coming in at 3 am. "Teammates" are not sales people. They are merchandise processors and navigators.

Pros

The gym, the discount, the pay is ok. Probably a great place to work if you were a male college athlete.

Cons

A horrible place to work if you were not a male college athlete Have you ever gone jogging in a college neighborhood and accidentally jogged by a frat house? And all the guys leer and hollar and hoot? Ok, those guys are all your bosses. HR is useless. If you need to go talk to HR while your there, just get up from your seat, smack yourself in the face, and sit back down. There, you've saved yourself an hour and a trip down the stairs. Long hours. Inefficiency. Lots of people leaving and coming. People are all young and think they are still in college. It's in Baltimore.
