Pros

The merchandise is good quality, and the employee discount is substantial (50%). The brand seems to be expanding. Fellow employees were usually fun to be around.

Cons

Most of the employees were very friendly, some in management were difficult to work with. There were not a lot of shifts for employees, possibly the store was overstaffed. Some very stringent policies which did not always make sense.

Growing too fast to care about employees: unorganized

Pros

Good employee discount. Great co-workers brand.

Cons

Very, very unorganized and unexperienced management and HR. No communication between managers and teammates. Crazy, sporadic hours. Managers and HR expected you to drop everything for them to work, while treating you like garbage. Managers lied about benefits and treated employees differently. Instead of helping fix problems in the store they created them.

An amazing place to work

Pros

The people are amazing. The Brand is growing and exciting. I've worked at several fantastic companies before coming to Under Armour. The best thing about being here is that you can have a huge impact, regardless of your level and time with the company. If you have ideas and are results-oriented, you can make a difference. This place is all about passion, winning, and doing great things. I love it and I'm excited to work here now - in the early days. Yeah, the discount and benefits are great, but the work we do? That's the exciting part.

Cons

If you're about the status quo, this isn't the place for you. You have to be nimble and quick. You have to be willing to have skin in the game. You determine your own balance, but it can be a grind. We are in hyper-growth mode, and that doesn't make for a laid back atmosphere. For me, that's ok. I'm excited and proud to be a part of this brand. It isn't perfect, but, I haven't yet found a place that is.
