Pros

This employer does offer good pay.

Cons

I think the supervisors could treat their employees with more respect and value. They should also offer benefits for non-regulars

Pros

Benefits. That’s the only pro.

Cons

Lack of unity. Majority of colleagues have that “me me me” mentality. Terrible training. Long hours for relief workers. Very limited social life outside of office. Did not prioritize safety during early Covid. Knowingly let employees get away with theft and do not discipline. If you really want to know how bad working for the Postal Service can be, read Post Office by Charles Bukowski. While he lived a horrible life, he describes life working at the Post Office perfectly.
