Pros

The pay was awesome!! Job allowed a lot of freedom once you got the hang of it. Guaranteed overtime daily.

Cons

Working for the post office equates to slavery. You work ridiculously hard for every single penny. I would never recommend anyone in their right mind to work for them.

Pros

grear benefits and sick day, vacation, but limited room for advancement except if you kiss some butt all the time.

Cons

lack of morale and constant threat of downsizing because of private competition. the work gets kind of monotonous and tedious.

Pros

Flexibility on days off. Work is the same day after day if you like regularity. Vacation days are good.

Cons

Pay decrease. Sometimes you have no one to cover your route so you have to work 6 days a week and the USPS wont pay over 60 hours a week. There's a lot of employees on disability who should not be on disability and the USPS tolerates it.
