Pros

Salary and Benefits Job Security of working for a Federal Agency

Cons

- Current atmosphere of working for a Federal Agency currently downsizing does not promote great relations between management and staff. Reduction-in-Force likely over the next several years which will reduce knowledge base further. - Business model currently is in flux and will not be stable for several years. Negative cash flow. - Federal Government extended debt load and has not approved legislation to give Postal Service flexibility.
