Pros

Only for the benefits, medical ,vacation, sick days.

Cons

Postal service lost what it was created to do and that is deliver mail. More concerned with meeting paper targets and forgot that it is people that deliver mail. On paper task appears easy, but 4 inches on a route map may be 400-600 feet that a carrier has to walk and that is both side of street (away from truck, back to truck). Uper management more concerned about themselves and personal enrichment and abusing position and benefits, ie personal use of government credit card, vehicle, and creating a hostile work place to harass or intimindate those who do not blindly obey their mismanagement of the Postal Service.
