Pros

Not many.....Decent starting pay for zero experience. The veteran workers on the floor were great to get along with and were always there to help you out when you had problems.

Cons

Management, Management, MANAGEMENT!!!! By far the biggest group of incompetent idiots that I've ever been around. Being recently separated from the military where family was very important, I was hit with a huge uppercut when I got this job They care nothing about your well-being at all......only their numbers! If you're even 1 minute (unit) late to clock back in from lunch, prepare to get scolded like a child. If the piece of crap machine you're assigned to isn't running mail consistently despite the numerous paper jams that stops the machine.....you're getting scolded again! Managers were out to sabotage other managers "numbers" and the low ranking employees were used as collateral. Was so happy that a contractor from Lackland Air Force Base e-mailed me with a job offer while I was on break. Not only did I NOT go back to my assigned machine, I searched for the closest supervisor and told them I resign effective "IMMEDIATELY". Signing off on that resignation letter was like being released from prison......FREEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!

Pros

Easy job to do. Case mail, pull mail, deliver parcels. Good pay.

Cons

Technically supposed to only work once a week, if management likes you they offer other positions you could do while getting paid the same rate. Also, you could be a sub for many years, I'm going on three years but have some coworkers who have been there for more than 9. working 40 hours a week with no benefits.

Pros

The benefits were excellent and the retirement package provided me a monthly annuity.

Cons

I was able to start by loading trucks on the dock and ended up being the Area Manager, so there is nothing negative to say about this organization.
