Pros

Thrift Savings Plan(401-K) , Federal Pension, Yearly raises , Yearly Step Increases, Yearly Union Contract Increases and Yearly COLA Increases

Cons

Most but not all management is horrible. They promote the worst people to advance. Majority of the time they already know who they want to give a promotion to but yet always trying to get you to think you have a chance of moving up without doing it the “wrong way “(ladies know what I mean)

Pros

+ You get to be outside + Little to no supervision

Cons

They're just way behind on everything. Training, technology, benefits, fleet supply and especially pay. They did nothing to innovate or stay ahead in the 90s or 00s and it really shows today. And with the pension fund being paused cause the USPS is about to run out of money soon, you'd be attaching yourself to a sinking ship wanting to work here.
