Pros

Great salary and benefits. Current base of about $62,000, easily make $70K plus, inclusive of overtime. Government benefits are unrivaled. I attended graduate school at night, my bosses were very helpful and cooperative with my school schedule. However, on that note, I was unusually fortunate with the supervisors and station managers that I had. I had great folks to work for, and that may well not be the norm at USPS.

Cons

Possibly management, depending on where you work; you may not be treated like an adult. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
