      Pros

      Strong Brand, but based on competition that may change soon.

      Cons

      Dated policies and procedures that hamper productivity and increase frustration. Union contracts are very powerful so the only way to bridge the gap is to push down on management. The supervisor position is the worse position in the company. I you cannot be hired as a Manager then take the OMS Specialist Position. They are paid hourly and you get overtime for working later than 8 hours.

      There are some incredibly talented people who work for UPS - and it has a certain level of name recognition

      Cons

      No opportunities for advancement. People don't leave, so no upward mobility. Management may state that development is important, but they do not live that statement.
