Pros

I work with an awesome team

Cons

As Part Time Supervisor you will make a good bit less than a new hire you have to train. Benefits are good but they will increase the amount you have to pay yearly. This year I have to almost pay double than last year just to receive the same benefits. If the stock falls management are the first ones to be cut or completely screwed over. UPS will cut overtime from part-time sups, to save a penny. Increase work load with no increase in pay, as higher ups see fit.

Pros

It had decent benefits, but that's it.

Cons

- Corporate is racist... Traditional White America male values make the enviroment hard to deal with. - It was literally in the policy that people could not have afro, twists, braids or dreads until Jan 2020 and they found this perfectly acceptable. - The pay is low... It is not competitive at all. You can make more than a UPS manager by starting an early career/entry level position at Amazon. - The Corporate office was fully remote for almost two years then REQUIRED people to return to the office 2-4 days a week smh - I experienced racist statements and micro aggression from Supervisors to VPs and when these things were reported to HR NOTHING happened. - Management didn't have much of an idea of what they were doing. - They managed in a super negative way by blowing minor situations like email typos or computer issues out of proportion.

Pros

The benefits are good - if you last

Cons

The only documentation received on what to expect from the job in regards to hours, orientation/onboarding, schedule, etc is inaccurate. This is apparently an ongoing issue, that they refuse to resolve. Scare tactics during the orientation are utilized regarding the culture and ability to take time off, to ensure that those who aren't a good fit are weeded out early. Managers then tell the next group of new hires that people are intimidated that the physical labor is too hard, without conducting research into why people don't go back. Found out through an off-hand question by a rehire that I am required to work past my off time, even though it's not posted. This should have been communicated at the building tour/onboarding, instead of after having every employee sign their commitment to attendance without actual knowledge of attendance hours
