Pros

Stability Benefits Flexible schedule (except for November/December)

Cons

The politics in this company are unbelievable. UPS doesn't care about their customers and all of the old school "UPSers" are delusional to change. Pricing department is a nightmare. If you win accounts or have accounts that are gaining they will take them and pass them to a "senior" rep. In return senior reps will pass down declining accounts to you. Management will call you on holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas to work in operations with no extra pay in another state. They say you are a "partner" so you have no choice.

Pros

Great pay for a straight forward job. Hours worked with my busy schedule. You get pay and a half after 5 hours. You get full health benefits after a year, tuition reimbursement immediately. They care about retention, so there are plenty of opportunities to grow within the company.

Cons

Tuition reimbursement is only $2,500 a semester. I worked at UPS in another city where they reimburse tuition in full. $2,500 is still nice though. I work the midnight shift, so active labor in the middle of the night is rough, but it's what I signed up for. Don't work here if you cant do 5 hours of nonstop, physically intensive labor. You're on a probationary period for your first 34 days, during which you have people interrupting your workflow to sign a booklet acknowledging your package count and mis-load count for the previous night. Seems completely unnecessary and counterproductive for those who actually get their job done well. It's loud and there's no music.
