      Bad place to work; slave labor; good for losing weight; health benefits went mostly to treat work related injuries

      to lose weight, health benefits for part time work

      Cons

      lack of manpower, extremely demanding physical work for low hourly pay, give lazy, less hard working, undeserving employees more desireable positions and keep hard working deserving employess in non desireable positions, poor tools and equipment, outdated facilities, poor management unable to properly run there sections resulting in poor performance and delayed delivery, extremely high turnover, too many employees leave due to back injuries and other work related injuries.

      Pros

      Benefits are pretty comprehensive. Large employer, so you will always have a lot of people there to get to know, management is usually there for entire career, so you can meet good managers that have a lot of practice.

      Cons

      Way too many hours, compensation is average at best, need to relocate constantly to move up within the management ranks, and little consideration is given to make your salary and cost of living equal if you accept a move to the more expensive places.

      Pros

      You are part of the world's largest package company.UPS is a very stable and smart company. An ambitious person has many opportunities available to them. There is mega growth in the international market. It is 100 years old and has seen everything the economy has tthrow at it.

      Cons

      It will absorb you like a sponge . If you don't leave soon enough it will suck the life right out of you.
