Pros

is great place to work. Great flexibility, reasonable salary scale, good learning opportunities. Multi-cultural. I recommend this company. The current Chief Operating Officeris Mr. Vanshelboim is great leader. He is trusted by employees and he moved organisation to a better position by cutting on management expenses and increasing productivity.

Cons

workloads, senior management positions are too political.

As it was working with community and make the capacity building for local people and that was the amazing job and the projects was all very satisfying.

Cons

I really did not see any down side while I was working with UNOPS but the only thing is that UNOPS should aware the government office while having projects on the area.

Pros

Opportunities to work creativly and directly with host country officials. Although a UN agency, UNOPS is project-based and so you have to apply higher level efficiencies and business practices than normally required for UN work.

Cons

HQ structure limits growth and creativity at times. Very age sensitive structure; if you are young or without a masters degree you will have to stay in one position for a longer time period.
