Pros

Nice team of people who support each other, the people you work with really make this job. Travelling around the local area for assignments + opportunities to go further afield sometimes. Weekends off.

Cons

High turnover rates of fundraisers, most people are let go within a month as the job requires a very specific sort of person to be able to hit targets. The days are tiring and the targets are set high. You're often sent to very rundown towns in the North where people just don't have the money to give and you feel bad even asking. As you'd expect, you receive a lot of abuse from the public as you are basically the most hated person on the street at all times.
