Pros

What a mandate and mission - its such an honour to work for such an organization and I met so many amazing professionals committed to really making a difference.

Cons

Over bureaucratic - 50 usd is treated as 50million for reporting -and more time looking inward to the corporate beast than looking at context and working out with partners and government how to really make a difference to children's lives

Pros

Pay and benefits are generous. Annual leave accrual is a plus. Working for the United Nations is unique and privilege.

Cons

There is a Leadership crisis at UNICEF that is perpetuated by senior management. Lots of talk about streaming but weak in execution.
