Best place I’ve worked for thus far. Flexible schedule

Cons

It is not a full-time position. And no benefits.

Pros

Flexible hours, work from home, opportunity to help students learn, great support system with management. Don't let the negative comments of past tutors discourage you. The method used by tutor.com is one in which the student is taught the rules, so they can apply those rules on their own. It's a "teach a man to fish" method, and it has worked wonders for millennia. Mentors do a great job explaining this method and encouraging tutors to use it. They are responsive within 2 days, and they give you the tools necessary to succeed.

Cons

Some students are tough to work with.
