Ok for a side job---flexible but low paying

Pros

Good for someone struggling through grad school to work on the side.

Cons

They take home 40.00 an hour. You take home 9 starting out, and after being promoted to tutor I, about 10.50-12, depending on subject. Working more than 20 hrs/wk with this pay burns you out quickly.

Pros

Flexibility, Working with wonderful students eager to learn the subject, and a fantastic team of mentors! I enjoyed working for this company.

Cons

Hours were scarce especially during certain periods of school such as summer and breaks. Getting paid once a month. I wish mentors were less nit-picky on mistakes and more prominent on your achievements.

Pros

Very gratifying to see your efforts help students succeed. Great people to work with and for the most part, roles were pretty clearly defined.

Cons

Lack of communication was a problem, as well as a bit of arrogance on the part of senior management. When you think your product is the best, and it's not, this leads to problems for the folks on the ground trying to get things done.
