Pros

Remote work, work anytime; tutoring cs topics in NY can be up to $20/hr. Government Department of defense sessions can be up to $30/hr. The session you get is up to the one you teach DoD sessions are random.

Cons

I’ve heard some quality assistants can be annoying but mine hasn’t actually said anything in months

Low pay but low effort

Pros

Good subreddit to talk with other tutors.

Cons

The pay is very low and there are no guarantees that you will be able to get hours to work. Your pay and the number of hours available will be more reflective of your state's labor laws than anything else. You will also be micromanaged but depending on who your QS is this might not be so bad. Misclassification as Independent Contractor is common.
