Okay if you can't get anything else.

Pros

Flexibility in schedule. You get to work anywhere you want as long as you have computer and internet access.

Cons

Pay is low. They require too much of your own unpaid time to be spent reviewing poorly set up resources. The resources should be contained within one manual rather than countless separate files. Too much time gets spent sifting through the files to find the information you need. Also, as a former mentor, I felt that I had to look for things wrong or to correct in the work of the tutors on my team. If I did not, then my Sr. Mentor would give me a lower rating on my own assessment. They are too nitpicky for what they pay.

Pros

Working with students and helping them edit their papers is so rewarding and self fulfilling.

Cons

Hours are not guaranteed. Don't depend on this as a main source of income. Side gig vibes.

Pros

Flexible hours, ocassionally a student who wants to learn

Cons

Days without a student, minimum wage pay, students expect you to do their work, most students are extremely low intelligence, micromanaged, interview and fingerprinting process ridiculous for the pay
