Pros

Flexible work and work from anywhere. Helps you understand the subject better by explaining it to others

Cons

Low pay . You can not live off of this. But the biggest problem and this is the "Elephant in the room" is that there is less and less work because of AI. Tutor.com has also developed its own AI to replace tutors. There's a large substantial drop off from just the last academic year

Pros

theoretically it's very flexible (but there is no use to that when there are no hours available)

Cons

a drop in available hours lately from very few to currently none. Also freelance status was changed into par time employee status, which really makes it no longer worthwhile
