Pros

Work from your computer, super flexible hours. This is really much better as a way to make extra money than as a primary job, but the pay is pretty good for the level of work and the convenience.

Cons

It's hard to list cons to something that I can't quite compare to anything else. I prefer tutoring in person, but I also prefer not leaving my house. As such, for people who excel in personal contact, this might not be the best choice.

Pros

You can work whenever you want as long as you have internet access. The hours are extremely flexible because you can sign up for hours using the "schedule manager" or you can "float" and tutor whenever it fits into your own personal schedule.

Cons

The tests to be certified are very long. I took four tests and some were 120 minutes long.

Not a good long-term deal

Pros

Nice to choose your hours, and the work can be fun.

Cons

Big brother mentor always watching every keystroke, and we all know what happens to those who don't do exactly what big brother says to do. Low pay, not really worth some of the stress unless you really need the job. Not good for long-term employment.
