Pros

Work from home in your free time.

Cons

Miserable pay. If you are not based in US you are hired by another company and you are paid 5 dollars per hour during your tutoring time. In the waiting time you are not paid. It is like working at an information desk and be paid only when someone come to ask for information. Training, class preparation and time you spend for scheduling are not paid. All your classes are recorded for quality check and can be reviewed. There is no freedom of choosing your teaching method because you are asked to treat the student as if they are stupid. Some of the student that are interested in understanding are frustrated about the length of the sessions (18-20 minutes). Several students are asked by their schools to connect but they do not care about the tutoring session: they connect and do not interact until you close the session.
