Pros

Work anywhere at anytime (Where there is internet and students to tutor of course...) Everyone has a personal mentor - I personally love my mentor...

Cons

You get paid on a "Time with student" basis. Some students are extremely frustrating

Pros

Having worked for them for a long time it was hard to transition from what things were like to what they changed to be. However this is a good work at home job. If you love tutoring/teaching/working with students this is a great job you can do at your home.

Cons

It's hard to move up, you are constantly watched and evaluated and it's hard to get scheduled hours and you sometimes end up wasting time sitting at your computer and not getting students. Sometimes students are just playing around and not serious and it messes up your scores.

Pros

So far, I've found it to be a pretty supportive environment. They ask for a high quality of performance, but I've had very good performance reviews from the person whose team I was assigned to. Personally, I find the voice/video-less format much less exhausting that tutoring via skype. I've enjoyed most of the students; they have been pretty friendly and are typically grateful for the help. Somehow, they seem nice than the kids I've tutored in person.

Cons

The pay is quite low, but I like the convenience of not having to schedule my own students. During the summer, it's hard to schedule hours, so don't expect to make much money then.
