      Good People but no Stability

      Pros

      I really enjoyed working with most of the people. Pay and Benefits were good. Very nice office, but open atmosphere. Not a lot of privacy.

      Cons

      I did not have the tools to do my job. I was provided with Timberline Estimating Software, which has a very limited database. No clear direction from the Management team on what was expected. Each Estimating Leader had different methods, so not a lot of Standards. However, they were working on developing standards.

      Construction is a fluid business. There isn't always a next job to go to.

      Pros

      Room to move around and grow. Depends on the employee and their goals.

      Cons

      Some times you have to carry the weight of other co-workers. Instead of making them hold their own the team absorbs it due to upper mgmt. Bad for the team but good for you if you know how to up-sell it for your own personal gains.
