Pros

Medical Benefits and Networking Events, some of the people at Turner are very nice and helpful. They have a mentoring program that is excellent. They have someone there to help you if you need direction and they are very open to tell you where you are headed or where you could be headed in the company. The overall expierence at Turner makes me want to stay in a small company forever. They have great meetings, they are very informative and keep you in the loop on what is going on, it's the only way to really know whats going on if you arent Senior Management.

Cons

Starting with Management, they have the worst Management that you could possibly think of. They need to work on Seperating thoes who "can" manage people and thoes who "can't" manage people, the would get allot futher ahead just by doing that. Turner is so much drama to work for, if you are looking for a company that you can go to work at and do your job, maybe meet a few nice people and go home, then Turner is NOT the company for you. They need to work on their Human Resources Department, maybe get them to start following the policy's that they put into place.

Pros

Turner may not be some sexy company to work at, but it offers good job stability with effective managers able to secure big and small projects for employees to work on. While Turner is a company of 5000 employees, its different offices scattered around the major cities operate independently, making it easier to stand out for promotions. Turner offers the standard perks including an ancient perk that's been eliminated by many older companies, medical retirement insurance.

Cons

There are 2 different working environments here: office and field. While the office is your typical workplace, working in the field can require you working in cramped trailers and using portables. Working in construction just isn't very sexy.
