- They're not looking for Estimators, Engineers, Field/Superintendents, etc. They're looking for quantity surveyors and engineering calculators.
- Poor culture that appears to put the employee and diversity hires and positive leadership first, but really only demonstrates that on paper. They're calculated and covert with workplace bullying, discrimination, retaliation, gossip, and cutthroat behavior/leadership.
- HR extremely sloppy and unprofessional. Caters to Management and Leadership or Tenured employees over severe complaints and grievances and/or abuse that's proved.
- Poor communication. Calculated and intentional targeting of employees who ask questions and seek feedback. Feedback is never provided unless you're being disciplined or pre-fired.
- Leadership and Management want you to be mind-readers. 'Message to Garcia' mindset.
-Will delay deadlines and deliverables to teach you a lesson or put you through exercises that don't contribute to the deliverables or client/design teams best interest but when you don't meet that deadline, then you will be thrown under the bus.
- Level 1 & 2 employees are provided with zero mentorship or development. They'll hire you low and low ball your salary and then make sure it's difficult to get back to the level of employee you already were and proved you were prior to being hired no matter how many years you've been in the industry.
- Over schedules volunteer events and gives no budget with little reimbursement.
- Extreme racism from all fronts.
- Covert homophobia, transphobia.
- Pretend to elevate women or minorities in every aspect of the company but when you get to the Senior/VP level, it's all white men.
- Pretends to put minorities first but then has a 24/7 engineering and quantity surveying company in India that is paid far less without taxing. Will not hire people from outside the US unless they've received a degree in the US.
- Low to below average pay. Unwilling to negotiate or follow-through when they agree to give a raise or promotion.
- Preach workplace culture and mindset and work/life balance but even when you leave at the end of the day they want you to be working remotely from home or elsewhere. No balance whatsoever.
- Too high of a workload and unrealistic expectations with little guidance.
- Will take a task or opportunity from you if you ask a question or for clarity/feedback prior to deadline .
