One of the best in the industry

Pros

Turner offers employees a great benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, basic life insurance, and more. While not amazing for other industries, Turner's benefits are the best I've seen of any construction company so far.

Cons

Work life balance is difficult to maintain. New employees typically start with 10 days of vacation/year, which are difficult to use if you don't have an office job. Management expectation is that you work 50+ hours/week with a 6:30am - 5:30pm workday (give or take an hour or so, depending on the project). All project staff are overworked to some degree and frequently fill multiple roles. 2nd shift and holiday work are often required with no additional compensation. Overtime is not compensated for any job titles other than Field Engineer.

Pros

-Work with extremely bright people -Compensation is solid

Cons

-Constantly pushes innovation and lean but hardly follow any of these practices. How lean is it to suggest in-person meetings that are 3-4 hours one way for an hour meeting. -Work-Life Balance is terrible -No casual attire. Why would you ever need a collared shirt on the field or the offices... -Performance review rarely ever accurate. An instance I experienced was when there was someone that had said one thing or another and manager didn't bother understanding the actual events.
