The Union does excellent work to bargain for the teachers and the service center generally does their best to make sure employees are appreciated and valued.

Cons

Focus tends to be shifted away from the youngest of learners and could be given more to early childhood.

The Kids! Seeing the kids have that "lightbulb" go off during a lesson is the greatest feeling. Sometimes we are the brightest spot in these kids lives

Cons

too much work for not enough money. They constantly change curriculum and expect you to just be able to teach it. They focus too much on test scores and not enough time on the actual kids themselves. They don't value teachers at all.
