Pros

Great learning experience, work hard/play harder culture, young colleagues, great after work events/ parties. Business casual, not stuffy at all.

Cons

THEY DON'T PAY ENOUGH. Remote work is very possible but not encouraged and I'm still not sure why. The work life balance is straight up crap I can't even sugar coat that. Training is laughable- there is no formal aspect to it and a kind of a throw you at the wall and hope you stick protocol. Hiring is based on whether or not managers will socialize well with prospective employees, not qualifications. The casual culture has created a complete lack of professionalism. Only room there is to grow is if you actually SLAVE for them and kiss manager butt in order to advance and that's almost impossible in some departments. There is no WiFi...why?

Pros

Great colleagues, good title to add to your CV

Cons

Work until your burn out work model Low salary to the amount of unpaid overtime you will have to do. Crazy pressure that does not end, you will work until depression gets to you. No rewards - buying a round of drinks is not really a reward! A work hard play hard attitude is what is tried to be portrait instead the reality is high turnover because of dodgy practices - undercutting rates or penalising translators is not the way forward

Pros

casual work attire motivated, friendly coworkers - everyone is young and energetic learn fast because you're forced to with the high stress environment

Cons

This is a terrible place to work. Anyone who says otherwise, CLEARLY, is not telling the truth. You learn a lot there and they definitely suck up naive college graduates that really just need a job. After quitting, I definitely am valued at my new job because i have so much experience for being so young. This company always over promises and never fulfills promises. They tell you things will get better and then they get worse than they were the first time around! You WILL work long hours -- a 9am - 7pm is not what I mean "long hours". I mean most of the time you will be there from 9am - 10pm, easy. Or if you're lucky, like I was .. spend at least 10 days in the 2 years I worked there getting in at 9am and leaving at 7am the following morning. This place is HORRENDOUS. There is no support or any form of a positive relationship between sales and the PMs. Client expectations are not managed by sales appropriately and therefore the project managers get the brunt of the client complaint. A corrective action form (CAF) comes in and if it's related to language, the project manager's performance review suffers even though they're not required to know the language or read it in the first place. The sales team acts as if they're equivalent to God and the Project managers are scum. The moment a project manager (god forbid) asks the sales person to talk to them with more respect, the project manager gets yelled at by their manager and the sales manager. BUT, a sales person can send an email to a project manager and say the same exact thing, and get away with it. Don't even think about writing back, because you will get yelled at. It is frankly INCREDIBLE and slightly amusing now that I'm gone to think a place this still exists. if you can, avoid this place at all costs. TERRIBLE place to work, TERRIBLE environment, TERRIBLE morale. Oh forgot this one, when you work overnight (aka 24 hour shift) to help the team get back on track so you can take on more work, if you leave early that afternoon (27 hours after you started) because you're so tired you can no longer open your eyes... there is a pretty good chance you will get a warning, and your manager will probably tell you that the next time disciplinary action will be taken, though you just worked 27 hours straight in order to help the team.. with no overtime pay or comp time. take my word, and stay far far away.
