      OpEx is killing us

      Pros

      Core values are good. Pay and benefits are adequate relative to work life balance.

      Cons

      Corporate Climbers are jumping on the OpEx bandwagon, shoving it down our throats and rolling up imaginary benefits to justify their next promotion. We are making dumb decisions after wasting massive hours in magical thinking events where engineers struggle to implement long overdue ideas while upper management and OpEx coaches try to get us to agree that writing things down on paper is saving the company millions starting before the ink is dry.

      Good retirement benefits and fair salary. Beautiful campus. Good work life balance

      Cons

      If you are too valuable in your current position, you will get pigeonholed. Can only move up by being friends with your future manager. Promotions are based on who you know, not what you know.

      Benefits, pay, employee programs for corporate employees.

      Cons

      Long hours, no work life balance, poor communication. Senior leaders make decisions based on year end bonuses rather than sustainable company growth.
