Pros
Decent benefits but when I started back in the 90's they were much better. But every few years the health benefits got worse and worse. You can usually work all the OT you want. They promote from within so upward movement is available. But also there are lots of people in this company that have been promoted beyond their capabilities.
Cons
Regular lil Payton place. Both in your face and "in secret". Plenty of married men sleeping around or trying too. Nepotism. Good ole boys. They will work their good employees to death and require little out of certain other people. They expect you to have no family or free time. Unless you work in the office then you are expected to party with them after work. Unless you are female then sometimes you won't be invited. Cause the fellas wanna play golf or go to "men's" bars. If your position is in operations then expect to get calls all times of the day or be expected to work whenever is necessary. Management always believes the worst in its employees. It's a dangerous position in operations and easy to have an accident or get hurt yet they treat injured as tho its fake or intentional. They will use and abuse you and throw you out with the trash when your broke down.
